Verified 2h ago## Select several assets
The assets panel now selects like Finder. Shift-click selects a range, ⌘-click / Ctrl-click adds or removes an item, and folders can be selected along with assets.
- **Act on the whole selection**: drag it into a folder, delete it, or insert every selected asset at the playhead from the context menu. Dragging several items shows them all under the pointer.
- **Keyboard**: arrows move the selection and Shift + arrows extend it, ⌘A / Ctrl+A selects everything in view, Escape clears it, ⌘↓ opens the selected folder and ⌘↑ goes back up.
- **Folders** open on double-click; a single click selects them.
## Changes
- **SVG thumbnails**: SVG assets show a preview in the assets panel.
- **Long names** in the assets panel are shortened in the middle, so the file extension stays visible.
- **Opening projects**: media files that haven't changed are no longer re-read each time a project opens.
- **Colors**: audio and caption colors in the interface now match their clips on the timeline.
